I happen to be legally blind, and honestly? It’s been one of my greatest gifts as a Licensed/Certified Massage & Lymphedema Therapist. While most people rely heavily on what they see, I’ve spent my entire career developing what I like to call my “superhuman hands“.
“When you can’t depend on visual cues, your sense of touch becomes extraordinarily refined. I can feel tension patterns, temperature changes, and subtle tissue variations that others might miss. My hands have become my eyes, and they’ve learned to “see” your body’s story in ways that constantly amaze even me.
This isn’t about overcoming a limitation—it’s about embracing a different kind of vision. My blindness has taught me to truly listen with my hands, to be fully present with each patient, and to trust what my touch tells me about your body’s needs. It’s why my philosophy of “hands that listen” isn’t just a cute saying—it’s literally how I experience the world.
So when I say I can feel what your body needs, I mean it in the most literal sense possible. Sometimes what others might see as a challenge becomes your greatest strength. In my case, it’s helped me become the therapist I was always meant to be.
Plus, I never judge anyone’s “massage hair” or worry about awkward eye contact during sessions! 😊

My Journey to Massage Therapy

My path into therapeutic healing began with formal training at the Baltimore School of Massage (now the Cortiva Institute), where I built a strong foundation in anatomy, therapeutic technique, and client-centered care. I launched my early career in Maryland before relocating to Southwest Florida, bringing both technical skill and deep compassion into every session.

For many years, I had the privilege of serving clients in Fort Myers as part of an established practice, where I further refined my expertise in lymphatic care and therapeutic massage. My ongoing education includes advanced modalities such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy, allowing me to address complex physical needs with confidence and precision.
